Don't disagree, but the NFC is uniquely weak right now. 49ers got a layer of blubber they can blow through as Purdy grows as a QB, drafting OL, or whatever they do.

Some recent teams like say the Bengals do not have that benefit.

I won't go as far as weak. I'd go more with top heavy. The AFC at least right now has more teams that can compete for a title run...

You’ve been doing this too long. It’s the NFL. A two year window is an eternity with great change. Teams like the Rams, Lions, and Packers took major steps forward this year. Who knows who will join them in 2024. This shit is hard.

And now we need to talk about the fact that they seemingly have been able to take a swing every year for the last 5-6 years and yet have zero to show for it. I’ve lived this in the early 2000s. This is just who they are in big games. They were lucky to even make the Super Bowl. They looked subpar throughout the playoffs.

AFC has the best QBs. NFC has good teams but only a few that looked likely to make the SB. GB, Det, SF.

I am not employed by the Eagles. I don’t have a role in scouting or in the front office. I won’t be negotiating with free agents. I won’t be scouting at the Senior Bowl. I have no role at the combine.

So instead I’m gonna take a few days and delight in the failure of men who talked a ton of coulda shoulda woulda shit and then when the big lights shone brightest were only able to muster up one TD (that should have been called back for ineligible player downfield)

I would probably offer the same defense of the Niners as I will the Eagles... the NFC is absurdly weak. Don't need to put all your chips in to contend right now. The roster is also very good and Purdy is dirt cheap.

I am pretty sure he is going to get paid this year.

What a game. Just knew Patrick was going to pull this one out. We have alot of questions, like, why even run a clock in overtime, but I guess it just solidifies the longest game status.

You just get throw off by, "if the defense scores", but if they pick up the ball and run for a touchdown, the team did possess the ball. So I guess no guarantee both offenses get a possession, but team possession.

I'm telling ya, those guys were horrible. My whole cheat sheet had numerous available calls to stop this, lineman down field, players over the sideline. brass knuckles, stick em, gasoline, etc. WTF, they did;t use any!!!

I also heard Taylor Swift changed the name of her album to KELCE and ME.
