Makes sense he is from Philly. It's been a rough couple of weeks. That guy needs some pussy

That’s a pretty good joke. Let me tell you why it’s funny.

God hates the Cleveland Browns and they’ve been a perennial punch line for generations. The funny part is that the real starting QB couldn’t play and that’s why the journeyman out of mothballs won the award.

??? ehhh

what?
They’ve been in trade talks with the Phillies for him recently. Apparently the sticking point is the Guardians demand for Phillies CF prospect Justin Crawford and the Phillies unwillingness to include him.

I would say a few things

1. I highly doubt they trade him

2. If they trade him they will get a good package of players and almost assuredly "win" the trade in the long term

3. He was very good last year- still a top 5 closer- but not flat out amazing he was the previous year

I just think on the small chance they do trade him it is just capitalizing on an asset at the height of its value.....they dealt Corey Kulber for him- everyone said the Guards got ripped off---- now Clase has had a few amazing seasons- the Guardians do havea couple really nice bullpen prospects--- if they think capitalizing on his value right now is the smart thing to do- and they get the right offer- its hard to argue.

They have been in talks since the trade deadline last season. He did lose some velocity but the owner is cheap as shit

I heard it and immediately thought it odd. From afar he’s one of the best pen arms in baseball. He’s on a great contract. These things together had me thinking the Guardians know something that everyone else doesn’t.

He’s under contract already though and it’s a really affordable deal.

I understand the NFL's approach of trying to replicate the NBA in terms of having a global audience. Having said that, in an NFL, you only really get 8 home games a year (not including the playoffs). Taking a game and moving it to Brazil/Mexico/London is a missed home game for loyal fans.
When there's 17 games the solution is obvious...every team plays 1 game abroad, 1 game per week.

Basketball is a global game, so it's not a fair comparison though and a much more difficult target. Football means something completely different to most of the rest of the world.

Some Super Bowl info. This is neat.

24 years ago, he played in a Super Bowl as a player. Now, Terry Killens is making history as an official

He played in S.B. XXXIV for the Titans.

The Zags had a huge win yesterday and that may just help them get in the Tourney.

They have not been up to their usual Zags play this season.
