Not sure where I should put this comment but BBall Paul Reed has a break out year this year. 8PPG and 6 RPG

That would he more than enough for a center backing up embiid. 6 rebounds does sound like a lot for a guy playing roughly 15 mpg though

I’m an old man now and I forget what I say. Maybe I posted that before. Anyway…the rise of BBall Paul is the only compelling Sixers good news I can muster up right now. I’ve been singing this guys praises for the last couple of years and he’s finally with a staff that will use him the right way.

I don’t think he’s going to play only 15 MPG though. I think he cracks the starting lineup. Old man Tucker isn’t it anymore. I think BBall Paul eventually takes his spot in the starting lineup. I think he’s gonna play 20-24 a game and some of his minutes will come with Embiid on the floor. Nurse has been having him watch Siakam tape. Nurse’s first season, Siakam exploded onto the scene. I don’t anticipate a meteoritic rise like he becomes Siakam. Siakam is an All Star caliber player. I just think this staff understands that he is an energy guy who can do the dirty work and he’s switchable as a defender.

It’s absolutely petty but I love any flex they want to do which keeps Harden away from the team. They’ve turned the page. Even if Harden wants to play I don’t know that Nurse is going to put him in the rotation. He has too many guards he needs to get minutes for now.

If the team decided to keep him out of games to work on his conditioning, whether that is real or code for "waiting on a trade", he isn't going to travel with the team. To me, this reads as he doesn't want to work on his conditioning.

Likely out of the rotation for the time being. Doesn't help that Klove starts which going to mean caleb gets those minutes. I can see Love eventually being out of the rotation though in favor of him. They have a good problem of too many players and not enough spots in the rotation

Not my decision but I’m not giving up $35.6 million of expiring cap for just peanuts and role players. This guy decided to opt in and then demand out. He can go fuck himself if he’s not committed 100% to the team. He wants to take shit back and be a good soldier and play for his next contract, that’s a different story. All signs point to he’s not doing that.

None of it is really a recurring injury though, so it's mostly just bad luck IMO.

It doesn't matter if it's a recurring injury or a bunch of different injuries...if a player misses a lot of time because of injury...he's injury prone.
