With our Ja defender out, I'm pessimistic now. I'll be happy with Warriors in 7.

Game 3 will tell us a lot. Obviously Kerr and the staff will be focusing on how to deal with Ja without GPII. And a young kid on the road in the playoffs might look a little different. Not to mention, if they just shoot sort of bad from 3 instead of really awful they win last night even with Ja going nuts.

I'm sticking with Ws in 6. I'm guessing they win both home games, lose game 5.

He is super raw. But, as I think was mentioned already up thread, every minute he plays in this post season will be invaluable for his development.

But right now, he is just as apt to make a boneheaded rookie mistake that costs the game as he is to make a great play that helps win it.

He can't stop Morant though, no one on the Warriors can. Morant just goes into the lane and free wheels it because no one can get up as high as him. The Warriors have no rim protector and their so called "death" lineup plays right into the Grizzlies hands.

There is a sole reason. His name is Harrison Barnes.

In games 5-7 he went 5 for 32 from the field. He was a -32 in those games. He played so poorly that Kerr elected to go with Festus Ezeli instead of Barnes because he couldn't trust him out on the court. Of course in the minutes Ezeli was out there in game 7 put the Cavs back on top.

Well, you inadvertently just named a few more reasons while declaring Barnes the sole reason.

Ezeli, Kerr, Bogut, Curry and Iggy playing hurt all played roles too.
