I'll help you... Hollinger's NBA Player Stats - ESPN Insider - National Basketball Association - ESPN... but I want you to confess what the ranking is... to your info DDV is at No 151 (6th buck)... try looking a bit (or by far more) deeper and after some more bucks...

lol

You're joking, right?

According to this list, at least the way you are using it, Javale McGee is better than Russell Westbrook, Kemba Walker, Bam Adebayo, Brandon Ingram, Paul George, Jayson Tatum, De'Angelo Russell, Donovan Mitchell, Pascal Siakam, Eric Bledsoe, Gordon Hayward, Kristaps Porzingis...

Shall I go on?

You are absolutely correct

Javale McGee is better than all of those players.

Additionally, Troy Daniels is better than the Bucks' starting SG

He minimal at best. A cheap contract doesn't make a player more 'valuable'. It makes them cheap to keep or obtain. I just don't see him as a reliable player to get a team to the next level. Maybe he could be a throw-in if the Lakers wanted Tatum and were willing to give up AD.

Yes, a cheap contract absolutely makes a player more valuable. Just like a bad contract can make a player have negative value.

Kuzma is a solid role player on a good team, nothing more. But that translates to wins and losses because teams who spend most of their cap space on 2 or 3 players need cheap quality. Kuzma is that.

Nothing special, but he carries significant trade value because of his contract.

If the Bucks fail to win the title, or even fail to make the Finals, you can bet your ass he's going to be looking at all options available.

And one of those options is moving out of Milwaukee

The reality is that nothing is certain with either player’s free agency. Likely case is that both resign with their current teams. But it isn’t a lock.

But, in Bucky world,

No chance Giannis leaves and AD is definitely out if the Lakers fail to make WCF.

LOL.

Yep. Chances are ridiculously high in Milwaukees favor that Giannis stays, but there's always a chance of the opposite.

Just like it's very very likely AD stays with the Lakers. But shit happens. We learned that the hard way with Dwight a few years ago.

Difference is, bucky is incapable of realizing things might not go his way.

This is all wrong of course...

1. It's wrong for one to confuse a "cheap" contract to the very different "rookie contract" which temporarily comes at cheap.

2. The reason the NBA has set salary limits on 1st round picks, is obviously in order to give the team which picks him, the ability to examine and evaluate his long term potential.

3. Cheap contract is signing a 30+ year veteran at vet.min.

4. The team which will invest on a "rookie contract", is looking to benefit in the long term from the player's development and then to keep him without disturbing their long term financial plan.

5. A team putting a rookie contract on the trade block, is suspicious for all potential buyers, especially if they ask for a 1st round pick back to be included in the deal... It simply means "he hasn't worked good enough for us to keep".

If the explanation in your (and others among Lakers fans) mind is that "the Lakers have signed Kostas in order to attract Giannis interest", you are (again) fully wrong in your "thinking"(?)...

The Lakers have signed Kostas, because they know that "the Bucks want him bad"...

Their (i.e. Lebron's) target out of the Bucks roster is Bledsoe and by signing Kostas (who the Bucks want bad), they hope they can get involved in a deal (most probably 3-team) which will enable them to land Bledsoe.

This could work if the Bucks will decide to trade Bledsoe this summer... (they won't mid-season if they decide to keep him for another season):

Lakers receive: Bledsoe
Bucks receive: Bogdanovic (on a sign and trade) + Bjelica + Kostas Antetokounmpo
Kings receive: Kuzma + Green + a 2nd from the Lakers + a 2nd from Bucks (via Pacers).

The factors that may influence against the above happening are:
1. The Bucks adding Bjelica too next to Marvin Williams (who stays with the Bucks on a Vmin next season)
2. The two Serbians (who are like brothers-friends) go together... they won't split.
3. Divincenzo... Will the Bucks have any interest to pay and add Bogdanovic after having (correctly) promoted Divincenzo to be their 3rd guy next to Giannis and Middleton, making back for Brogdon's departure, for their future roster plans?

Divincenzo will be starting at SG for the postseason... Bogdanovic will want to start for the Bucks in order to agree on a "sign and trade"= problem.

You literally understand nothing about player valuation.

Just about every word of this is wrong.

The reason rookie salary limits exist is to protect teams from themselves and to ensure the drafting team has every advantage in retaining their players via restricted free agency while also giving a rebuilder a chance to build a young core.

The Lakers are obviously in win now mode, so if they could trade Kuzma + Green for somebody a lot better, they might. But the trouble is that is 2 key pieces to their depth, so the return player would have to be somebody they really needed.

Yes, vets make cheap contracts. So too do players like Kuzma. Yes, Kuzma’s eventual raise does bring his value down a bit, but he still has value because of his current contract. And that is fact.

Unless you is (not are) an idiot (which of course you is (not are) if you can ask what has been explained), Kostas is the only reason that the Bucks may decide to let the Lakers being involved in a trade that would bring Bledsoe to the Lakers and Bledsoe is the Lakers main target.

The entire purpose behind the draft, isn't to protect teams as you foolishly say, but to become better and advance with respect to competition (that's why the reverse order with respect to the ranking).

In any case it takes as much of an idiot to confuse the term "cheap contract" with "rookie contract" and then even more so to equal them, as much an idiot would dare to compare Middleton with Brogdon and conclude that Brogdon is better.

Of course the same idiot would claim during the preseason that the Bucks would be worst this season than the season before and even dare to predict in his idiocy that the Bucks won't be among the championship contenders...
