None of my comments were ever meant to say Green was not a good player....also believe he would have been the MVP had GS pulled out Game 7.

However, I'm not sure putting up 2nd best numbers makes him the 2nd best player. We can see without these elite players he can't do much of anything.

Just not sure he is the guy he showed us that year on another team and we are seeing that this season. sure, a couple years older, but still only 29, right?

what makes Love the better player to me is he can be a team's #1 and still put up numbers even as a guy other teams try to stop. Is that what we want as fans of that team? Heck no, but IMO opinion it matter when comparing 2 players.
Do you think he's still capable of being a #1?

I'm not holding this year against him.

Hard to put up numbers when guys are refusing to pass you the ball.

I think he'd be a decent #2.

A spectacular #3.

A deadly #4.

But, on the right roster.

Maybe next to a great rim protector?

Swap him with Horford and do the Sixers have better spacing?

With a healthy Embiid, I say yes.

This is kinda lame....imo.

I know people were trying to get Vince to do it. But, he wisely declined.

Dude is too old for this.

Plus, didn't he say this?

Guess he changed his mind.

Yeah....

I think it's quite funny. Don't expect much but yeah he's way to old.

Will give the guy credit though.

This is the only " look at me " kinda moment he's had all year.

He's given you guys great play, no drama.

So, let him have this...lol

To be fair, people keep asking him, so maybe he just decided "Why the hell not?"

Plus, it'll be nice to have a "name" in the contest again.

It'll be funny as hell if his old ass actually wins. lol

For his first dunk, Dwight should come out dressed like an old man with a walker. Then jump over the walker for his dunk.

Agree, Howard might be bat shit crazy but in this age of guys scared to compete because it might hurt their brand it is refreshing.

I hate to see a player get injured and I hope all the best for Dwight Powell...

but that was the most retarded season ending injury i've ever seen.

The no contact injuries are always the worst.

I totally expect them to trade for one of Love, Morris, Iggy or maybe Drummond, Whiteside.

They need a big badly....One of the biggest issues when they play the Lakers is AD and Dwight destroy their front court. They can push the Lakers to 6 games IMO if they get a big

Love it.

Just...maybe not LA?

How about somewhere more tranquil like Lake Arrowhead, Catalina?
I'm thinking something like Tehachapi. :D

The more I read, the less I feel sorry for this guy.

This is all on him....

The NBPA helped facilitate his residence change from Dallas to Maryland in recent years and extensively supported him financially, as recently as this month, according to sources. Ainge and the Celtics have given him a scouting job to scout games in the D.C. and East Coast area, sources said, but West has had mixed results due to fluctuating attendance. His close friends and family have all stepped in whenever they could.
