it was agreed before the mock how we would do the scoring... but i do think after the fact it was not great...

i think we should have boosted the points for a win and penalized more for bad teams...

just looking at my rankings, but i don't like how Shane was third in my rankings(sure, i somehow had a 4 way tie), but i thought all his teams were mediocre(relative to the other teams)... i dont think pure balance is better than having some elite teams...

this just shows how some of us have totally different views...

I honestly thought anyone who would not pick me first in football was just flat out wrong... But i know you are a current player fan.... and it shows...

just looking at your rankings, and seeing how different it is to mine is amazing... neither of us are wrong... but it is just amazing how you rank some teams so highly where i didn't...

for example, i had Nos football team as one of the worst... you have it as third best...

As well as the winner getting for example 10 points and 2nd 8 points...I assume you want to do this more drastically though knowing your style. 15 points for 1st, 10 for 2nd. -5 for loser, -3 for 9th, 0 for 8th...

There is no way of stopping it...I mean you have 2nd-4th within 3 points but that is going to happen. Then you have another group 10-15 points apart. If it wasn't for Nos blowing the competition away It could have been 8 or 9 of the top teams being as you call "mediocre". That's good competition and it means we all drafted well. The points being this close is a great thing imo...I'm also glad I was the one barely scraping by

The people that accumulated the most talent were towards the top over fit and it's just how people vote.

I am sure most people had Nos basketball team #1 because it's the best collection of talent, but the fit is awful relativel to Sushi or Shanes. But the talent wins out enough I had him 3rd.

You said you had him towards the bottom in Football, but I felt his was one of the most well built and would handle lots of situations. He also didn't have many OBVIOUS pitfalls like John Abraham as a 3-4 end, Chad Brown starting in this level of comp, or massive cowboys love.

That's exactly what I had.

I feel like that UK-Nos trade swung the tide. UK didn't need to make that trade looking back at it imo. Still would have been a top 1-2 MLB team most likely. Nos getting Lebron was huge. He would have been a top 4 team still imo but it could have changed things a bit. Nos' team won purely on too much talent.

That's what I have a problem with. Is the 3rd team that much better than the 4th in most of our mocks. No, not even close.

But there is not much of a difference ever in these mocks. It’s all relative. Being 5th best is still being 5th best. Even if you are so close.

THe Grove/Lebron trade was awful and I ranked UK lower in baseball because his biggest strength is something I care the least about in these (Bullpens).
