Interesting aspect that doesn't seem to get much coverage. Basically 1/3 players to declare early for the NFL did not get drafted. I feel like the NCAA needs to adapt and let these players back into school.

I don't know what LJ Scott was thinking
Probably thinking he wants to make money instead of not make money.

My favorite guy on the list was obviously Datrayan Evans from Friends University, a Christian-based liberal arts college. I can certainly understand why he wanted to get the hell out.

Was surprised to see Tyree Jackson go undrafted. He did sign a deal with the Bills though for 75K guaranteed. My guess is he makes the team, makes the rookie minimum and walks away with over 500K as a rookie. Not bad.

Bill Belichick is looking through the list for Gronk's replacement.
Probably end up with a rugby player from a country that we can't pronounce.

Nah, they made their decisions! They were wanting to get paid and were cocky and got burned. Especially some of the no names from no name schools those really crack me up reading through the list.

Also, I'd be curious how many of these guys have already been in school 4 years, graduated, but still had a year left of eligibility? Ryan Bates out of PSU would fit this description.

The problem with letting them back is that coaches need to adapt to their departure prior to the draft. Short of allowing extra scholarships for those who return, coaches would have to pull offers all ready made to high schoolers.

I could see that being abused severely.

Wouldn’t be academically eligible or were sick of school and wanted to take a Chance because they were leaving anyways.

Also Riley could have told them they suck ass and need to get the fuck out and the players knew no one would waste a scholarship on them, especially since it would burn a year of eligibility.

Actually with this kid, I know he tried, or is still in the process of suing the the NCAA over a PED issue of lost time for suspension. Could have played a part too maybe.
