While I don't agree that Oklahoma should be ranked behind Ohio State, I think the Committee will rank them lower because of Ohio State's blowout win over what they deemed as the #4 team in the country. I also think UCF should be ahead of Oklahoma and Ohio State, but I don't see the Committee sharing those views.

Because they are playing Alabama while the other 2 are playing teams that aren't even top10 unless you are buying Texas as a top10 team(I don't).

It's not just Georgia you are claiming losing there, it's Georgia, Ohio St and Oklahoma all losing.

UCF beats Memphis by 50
Alabama crushes Georgia
Pitt beats Clemson
Texas crushes OU
NW crushes OSU

But even then it may be doubtful UCF gets in.

It's not just Georgia you are claiming losing there, it's Georgia, Ohio St and Oklahoma all losing.

Well the first scenario was just OU and OSU. If UGA loses, a 2-loss UGA team does not get into the CFP. I don't think that's possible at all.

In the conversation? Sure. Are they really more deserving than UGA even with 2 losses? If they lose close to Bama, that's significantly more impressive than anything UCF has done this year.

Ohh absolutely they would converse on it. Add in Clemson losing with the not great schedule they have and who knows. Hell I could even see it happening. (UCF gets in)

Alas I think this all gets put to bed at high noon when OU beats Texas.

I think that depends on if Georgia gets best down by Alabama.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a good game regardless of who wins it. But a blowout loss won't be a good look.

Still, losing to Texas and Northwestern(especially) is a terrible look.

An undefeated UCF shoudl be in over any two-loss team.

I know that won't happen because the system is rigged, but that is what should happen.

UCF just didn't have the schedule to support them making the playoffs this year. Schedule smarter and the stars may align for you.

We'll I think you could argue losing to a 6-6 Purdue by 30 is the real terrible look.

Don't see why it ain't gonna happen if chaos reigns supreme on Championship Saturday. Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State all lose, that conversation will probably be happening.
