While by many measures debt has doubled under Obama’s presidency, it is hard to argue this is entirely of Obama’s doing.

First of all, much of the debt increase was the result of laws and economic conditions in place before Obama took office rather than laws that passed under his presidency. The Congressional Budget Office’s first current law projections of the Obama presidency already projected debt held by the public would rise from $5.8 trillion to $9.1 trillion when Obama left office – and these projections didn’t incorporate the entire depth of the Great Recession, which reduced revenue and therefore further increased debt.

The prison system is an example of what people call institutional racism. They believe the law is unfair and set up against black people. Well, the fact is, black people are in jail more often than white people. People start to claim it is institutional because they theorize blacks just get arrested more even though they believe they commit crime at the same rate. Or they theorize, since black fathers are in prison, it leads to their kids going to prison.

The true institutional racism, verifiable fact, is affirmative action. That is an institution that is actually racist.

Affirmative action is racist? That's beyond stupid. Affirmative action, though perhaps flawed, was a band-aid solution to a problem that exists nationally. It neither solves the entirety of the problem, nor was it meant to solve the entirety of the problem - institutional racism.

It's a reactive position, not a proactive one. Then again, at least it's not regressive.

Well trickle down doesn't work, never has and he had to reverse the damages. The economy that Obama handed Trump was and in some cases still is far better than what Bush handed him. Funny thing is, the current guy is trying the same failed scheme. Let's see, it doesn't work, never has... I wonder how things will turn out economically for 45, the autocratic dictator wanna be?? Well, can you prove they commit crimes at the same rate? The answer is hell no. You can conclude that blacks commit crime at a much higher rate because that is what the actual statistics say.

The federal government is an institution. Racism can be defined as discrimination against a race.

If an actual law is passed by an institution, we will call it the federal government, and it is discriminatory because it actually discriminated against a particular race.
