NB4 4d20 talks about how the SEC still has the toughest SoS.
Imagine half the NFL playing a 16 game schedule and the other half playing a 15 game schedule.Who cares. All that matters is does that schedule get you into the playoffs at the end of the season.
Is it bad that was the first thing I was going to post? This would mean all P5 teams aren't equal.

And I agree with the logic that not all P5 are equal.
Until the committee makes it matter it wont.Imagine half the NFL playing a 16 game schedule and the other half playing a 15 game schedule.
Is playing Ohio State or Oklahoma the same as playing Illinois or Kansas? Obviously not so he is correct in that.Keep drinking the ESP1N Kool-Aid.
blah blah blah and more blah.Is playing Ohio State or Oklahoma the same as playing Illinois or Kansas? Obviously not so he is correct in that.
I do believe there needs to be some standardization in college football but I would prefer 8 conference games and 2 P5 games over 9 conference games and 1 P5. It allows for a better picture of which conferences are stronger than others. 9 conference games and only one P5 game only gives you a better idea of who is best in conference.
