How can I say he should be allowed to smoke pot? Easy. Everyone in America should be allowed to, no different than alcohol, tobacco, or fast food. All 3 of those things are way more harmful.
That is irrelevant in the Gordon situation. He knows he is not allowed to do it. It doesn't matter if we think he SHOULD be allowed to do it. I have to go through a mile long area street that has a 30MPH speed limit each day. It should be 50. I'd be a dumbass if I got several tickets for going 50MPH on that section of road. Gordon is a dumbass.

Going 50 can kill someone if you take your eye off the road. Smoking a bowl at your house with your friends is entirely opposite. That's a remarkably stupid comparison to try and make.

Yes, I know he shouldn't have because he knows it's not allowed. I'm aware. I never said that wasn't the case. I said it's fucking stupid that he's getting branded a junky or druggie by people on here because he does something that's much more harmless than drinking, smoking cigarettes, or eating shitty food.

I get fined for not taking Christmas lights down before February. The lights wont kill anyone but its HOA rules, so I abide by same.

He's not a junky necessarily, but he is a dumbass. Just like I would be if I kept going 50 MPH in a 30 MPH after getting a couple tickets.

You would be a dumbass if you kept getting fined and kept doing the same thing.
Perhaps it would be different if you were trying to take a stand and could pay the fines. However, if you were forced to move your family, that is where you would get into the Gordon dumbass range.

Jesus fuck, I've said he made a lot of dumb choices already. Pay attention so you can stop spouting irrelevant nonsense.

He's broken league rules that are archaic and have no place in the modern game. It would be like if it was illegal for NFL players to drink sweet tea. It's absolutely nonsense because drinking sweet tea has nothing to do with being a football player or your ability to play on the field, and just like the pot rule, that sort of rule would need to be changed immediately due to it's absolutely ignorant nature.

So you agree that he is a dumbass. That's a good step for you.

Nope. But maybe you'll take the grown up step of realizing how ignorant the pot rule is and how it needs to be done away with. Probably not, but maybe.

Why the fuck are you so insistent on the pot rule being changed in the NFL. I ahven't noticed you going on about my workplace or other states. Just the NFL, huh? It's the rule and he keeps breaking it. He is a dumbass.

So you don't think it is a dumbass move to keep doing something against the rules that is costing him millions of dollars? Crazy.

Where do you come up with these terrible analogies? When was sweet tea ever illegal?

I think the marijuana rule should be changed. In no way is it a performance enhancer. I guess the NFL thinks it's better if players pump themselves full of dangerous & overly addictive pills.

Few players have had others (coaches, other players, fans etc...) invest so much time into them for nothing like Josh Gordon.

You start banning sweet tea and you'll start seeing players from Atlanta and Tennessee get really pissed off.

Debatable. Definitely a health aid. No question about it. Obviously that's a pro not a con.

Debatable? So you think marijuana's a performance enhancer? If so :laugh3:

I don't think it can enhance physical performance - I know it does. It aids in recovery too. Medical marijuana is proof of this.

I am no public advocate to legalize it, but I do enjoy watching main stream medicine slowly embrace it's obvious benefits and wonder how soon before it's accepted across the board.

So you're saying marijuana is a performance enhancer like these:

-steroids
-androstenedione
-HGH
-diuretics
-creatine
-stimulants

If so can you post a link backing up what you're claiming? I've never heard of marijuana used as a performance enhancer.

Am I saying it builds muscle? Of course not. GTFO lol

Anyone else want to discuss this?
