The fact that they're still throwing Vargas out there every 5th day is hilarious
All my annoying Met fan friends have been silenced before the AS break in b2b years and their chirping after the 11-1 start was hilarious.....

They were chirping on the Boomer show yesterday, all Yankee haters, cause the Mets won 3 in a row

I feel like calling and saying "you guys wanna talk about the NY team that isn't only better than the Marlins and Reds?"

Ill be sick if they move Frazier for 35 year old rental JA Happ, which is being rumored.......German looks like Severino all over again, Id do nothing but maybe bolster the pen even more

This need for a starter is soooo overblown

Happ is making $13M this year-they're not moving a prospect like Frazier to pay a salary like that. Would be a couple of guys further down the totem pole.

They're gonna need another pitcher, and I think I'd prefer Happ over Hamels, but ultimately, how can you not trust Cashman to make the right move after his last few years?

Alderson is so bad

Frazier
Agon
Bruce
Vargas
Scwarzak

Just this winter
I had a very firm stance against signing Frazier in the off season, the Mets swoop in and gave him 2 for $17M.....He's putting up the numbers I expected and is a hell of a cheerleader for the money.....

Exactly, I give him credit, him being a really good guy and great cheerleader has made him millions

I do, but this General thought that they "have to unload Frazier" worries me that he will headline any deal

Which means little when they're selecting starters.

also, enjoy the impending regression

Assuming ABs Escobar will stay among the league leaders in doubles.

He’s the least of my “regression” worries.

Any reports on fans injured on Andujar's homer? That ball was a foot off the ground, was shocked how he went down and got it.....Lightning fast bat.....

I hear you, but something's gotta give. They've never had a logjam of talent like this in my memory. Poor Drury is winning player of the week awards in AAA, and there's no where for him to go. They have to start moving some of these guys, if for no other reason that it's going to start stunting the guys in AA and below.

Now that Austin is down, it may be time to cut ties with Walker. He's been a good soldier, but Drury can take his role and be a better alternative should Bird not get going/get injured

Maybe they could put together a Yankee team for the NL?

I'd rather run Johhnie Walker out there and he's been dead since 1857......

And then Gleyber hits another bomb a few innings later.

Fun ROY race between these two.
