From multiple sources, here's what I have re: the Gronk rumors. Told Belichick wanted to trade him. Offers on the table w both the Titans and 49ers. He and Robert Kraft had a closed-door meeting to discuss. Tom Brady threatened to retire if the deal went through. Kraft nixed it.

Haha

Any links to these “multiple sources”?

Should have never traded Jimmy

Should have traded Gronk at his highest value

Ok... let’s say they keep jimmy G as you keep saying. You saw what he signed for. Assume the pats sign him to the same deal. Obviously, that affects the whole team and the salary cap situation.

Now, what moves do they make? Go...

Bob Quin is dumb enough to trade up for a mediocre oft injured RB.

He's definitely dumb enough to trade for a brittle bitch like Gronk.

Can't say for certain, but going by past expierience, first move is prolly to cheat.

He wasnt getting that deal from the Pats, not by a long shot, he got it from the Niners because he stepped in, went 5-0 and looked like the second coming of Aaron Rodgers...Absolutely no doubt they could have retained him at a club friendly rate before he was able to show how legit he is...........Everyone knows itrs where all the tension has come from cause BB always has the future of the franchises' best interest in mind, and having to trade him forever changes relationships out there....Its not a knock on Brady, but the end is near, they had a chance to transition into another era of winning, now like most teams, once Tom goes, the long rebuild will begin

I disagree. Word is they offered him 18M per year to be the back up and it would jump to pretty much what he got once he became the starter. He turned it down bc he wanted to play. MAYBE he got a LITTLE more bc of the end of the year stuff but he was gonna get a minimum of 20M a year for 5 years.

So I ask again, you keep Jimmy G at 20+M per year what's your next move(s) . Go....

I never heard that "Word"

I have a hard time believing a backup would turn down the security of $18 million per season......

I thought it was him but it just didn't look like him for some reason

He's hard to recognize when he's not laying on the field grasping his knee.
