agree 100% was just about to post basically the same thing.

We have only a glimmer of hope to make an MNC if any. We just have to hope we can win out this year and ride momentum for next year to place us in a favor position in the polls. The only concern for next that I have is our OLine, but it seems they are always inconsistent, so I'm sure it will be the same old same old. Hopefully with a seasoned Thomas, he can take pressure off the Oline and new RB (if Wilson leaves) and new WR (although I like the three we bring back). The defense should be awesome if everyone can come back from their injuries.

Earlier today i was pulling for whoVa to pull the upset in hopes that they would be ranked for our matchup next weekend. I figured that if we beat a ranked whoVa and followed that up by beating a top5 Clemson, it would greatly increase what little chance we had of sneaking into the title talk. Since clemson lost today, i'd be perfectly happy if FSU beats the french and locks us in the ACCcg.

oregon is down 14 in the 2nd quarter and oklahoma is down 7 in the 2nd quarter. we would likely be #4 or 5 if these results go our way tonight. then lsu/arkansas play head to head so one would have to lose.

Us: because if we were to beat whoVa and then go on and beat a top 5 clemson team (that gave us our only previous loss) then we have a decent argument fot the NCG.

The ACC as a whole: because the if both us and clemson would have won out the winner of the ACCcg would have just defeated a top 5 team and again the ACC would have had a good chance of putting a team in the NCG.

as it stands now, i think even if VT wins out we will still lack that "signature" win.

It's still early in the OU and UO games, but if the scores hold up, we should be 4th with 3 SEC teams ahead of us. LSU and Arky play next week leaving two. I would hope that we would jump the one SEC team not in the SECCG if we win against Clemson. Lots of IF's and it requires us to win out, and also assumes the winner of the OU/OSU doesn't jump us when they play on the 3rd.

my house looks like an editing room right now. I've got 2 LT's with ESPN 3 (1with baylor olklahoma 1 with usc oregon) my main TV on whoVa Fsu and another tv in my den (that i can see from my living room) on vandy UT.

If things go our way tonight it could very well come down to do the voters want to see a rematch of LSU/Bama or give us a shot. We need a good bit of help this week and next week to get there as well as win out. But as someone quoted recently "So you are saying I have a chance!"-Loyd Christmas
