The stuff I avoid is citrus fruit beers. Those seem like something intentionally made for Millennials and younger drinkers.
^^^ I don't get that shit at all. Who the hell can drink 6 of those?

While absent, I learned hard times by Ray Charles.

That is a panty dropper, for sure. Should have learned it back when I was single. Now I’ll just use it to drop panties that I’ve dropped a thousand times or more.

Lately been Goose Island IPA, Sierra Nevada PA, Guinness, Highland Oatmeal Porter. The generic is Bud Light. If you can get hold of some Dan's Pale Ale, that's also good. I typically buy the 15.99 one that's on sale.

Yuengling and Blue Moon

You’re the Chris Burke of tHoop opinion piceses. I value your opinion; sort of.

That's why it comes in 25-ounce cans. They needed a gimmick to sell the stuff, so rather than make a decent beer they just put it in a big fuckin' can and added some advertising.

Fosters actually brews better beer in country because they brew some of the "imports" rather than spending the money to import them.

This is serious shit here fellas.. Drank Budweiser most of my life. I know for a fact it's watered down compared to the old school German beer it was made to be years ago. InBev has watered it down I know for a fact.

Anyone know of a good brew that's comparable to old school Budweiser? I know the grain is rice.. Water, Barley Malt, Rice, Yeast, Hops.

Fuck InBev. Bastards don't even make old school Michelob anywhere and stick to Michelob ultra for the gays
Budweiser is garbage and here should not be rice in your beer.

You're welcome

Also, if you ever get a chance you should go to the Founders taproom. It's a thing of beauty:

I have heard about the tap room. West side has some good drinking spots.

If I try to drink a Coors Light in the winter, I hate it and have no idea how I drink it. But then the 90 degree summer rolls around and I don't mind it. Mind you, I don't love it, but it's not bad for a camping trip, or barbecuing, and because it's got significantly less alcohol than bourbon or even other beers I drink, it slows me down.

I too am a bourbon man.

What does that mean?

Has an off flavor, kind of like the smell of a skunk, but not as bad.

From what I understand, there are two things that can cause it. Going from refrigerated to room temp and back, and exposure to a lot of light.

Seems like some beers are more susceptible.

What do Coors, Budweiser, Miller, etc and having sex in a canoe have in common? They're both too fucking close to water.

The two I find the skunkiest are Yeungling and Heineken, both of which come in green bottles. Coincidence?

I do not think it's a coincidence. Rolling Rock also has that reputation. I've heard that the brown bottles are that color to protect the beer from light.

On the other hand, some beers are in clear bottles - Newcastle, High Life, Corona - and they don't get skunky.

Maybe it is the green.

Yup. Basically what I said above. Beers like Coors are perfect if you're drinking them from a cooler and doing something outside. That's about all they're good for.

Half Lemonade Half beer, perfect for Summer.
