I've got a soft spot for shanny. The Shanny trade led to the Devils acquiring Stevens. I agree with @RP-29 definitely Brady
He was never close to my favorite Wing. But he was part of
Some great teams during his career.

Brady easily now that the narrative has got so disgusting with him.

You could make a pretty big argument that all baseball players between 1915-1935 are overrated just by how the Hall of Fame treats players after that era.

the thing about being over-rated is that you had to be pretty damn good to have people even care about ya... that is my problem, and why I am not over-rated... nobody has ever rated me in the first place...

The one think I did like about Shanny was he did have a bit of a mean streak. He could bury the puck. But he definitely wasn't afraid to drop the gloves. And he did quite well. I do miss Probert wasn't a wings fan. But Probert was definitely one of my favorite red wings

Theres always going to be too many question marks with me surrounding Brady. And he just seems to become more of a circus every year. People can say what they want but he'll always be on a lot of over rated lists imo

McCarty and Kocur were my favorite grinders.

I didn't have cable growing up so all memories from the Dead Wing era are radio. Proberts a legend though.

And I'm with you, Shanny could hold his own.

McCarty was a different breed. He could drop the gloves and go with anyone.Than turn around and score a finesse goal. Theres times he would toe drag or deke that made me do a double take
