I'm biased on that one But I can see the arguement got Swann being considered over rated. If not for his performance on the big stage. And the teams that surrounded him is he in the HOF? What are your thoughts on Moon? He's always been a tough one for me to gauge. I've always been on the fence as to whether he was a product of a system. Or just a great QB
I'm sure you'll be hearing from @Pack 500
I wouldn't say Bradshaw, but Namath is definitely up there. I may have to change my Lynn Swann to Joe Namath!
You already know my stance on Swann. I loved how he played the game. But you also know I'm always going to be a little biased. Because of his college football days. I've always wondered how his game would translate in today's game. And what he would been able to accomplish. With the lack of contact receivers work with now. As compared to the CB's back then.I didn't put Swann on the list because he's not overrated. I think everyone who's not a Steelers fan knows he's in the hall because of the team he was on.
Oh I would definitely put Namath up there on the overrated list.I wouldn't say Bradshaw, but Namath is definitely up there. I may have to change my Lynn Swann to Joe Namath!
the thing about being over-rated is that you had to be pretty damn good to have people even care about ya... that is my problem, and why I am not over-rated... nobody has ever rated me in the first place...
