Zherdev Scratched

I dont like this decision at all. He has been great down the stretch while the rest of the team slacked. Also his line of Carter and Giroux was great. I hope Lavy knows what hes doing

i'm sorry, but laviolette's an absolute moron for this decision. zherdev was the only forward who gave 100 percent the last week of the season. he worked hard and earned his ice time back. guys like versteeg should be scratched..hes been horrible..and leino hasn't been too great either..and zherdev gets scratched..

the only reasoning i can see behind this is that buffalo is a transition team and a few turnovers by zherdev could kill us, and nodl is more defensively reliable..but at the same time..versteeg and leino and others have been turnover machines so i don't like this decision one bit.

please tell me what advantage we have by putting carcillo, powe, nodl in the same lineup when we could easily replace carcillo or nodl and have a potentially lethal top line forward? have i missed something? did zherdev hit on lavy's wife or something?

I immediately felt the same way and for the most part Flyer fans are pissed. Face it Z fits better with Carts/Giroux. If anything its best to put JVR there and Nodl with Richie/Versteeg so they can check vanek...maybe that's the plan? Still like Z better let them worry about the Flyers scoring!!!!

Actually make it Carcillo scratched over Nodl. Nodl had 4 more hits than Carcillo last night.
