Yes actually Cup, he very early on made a incredible save on a two on one that may have changed the whole game... He had about 2 or 3 great saves like that in the first... I didnt see hardly any of the third, but since it was 5-0 at that point I knew we had it...

They just seem to play better or harder for Moose at times....

Moose def made a couple Marty-like saves last night to really set the tone and tell the Caps "tonight is not your night".

Makes me really wonder if Marty would benefit from a system like the Blues have with Elliot and Halak. They ride the hot hand. I mean Moose just gets a road shutout and he probably wont see the ice til the next time we have a back to back.

Good look I just watched the replays. Thing with moose he is no thrills he is simple keeps it simple. Marty on that 2on1 would've stacked the pads tried to do some silly save.

I'm trying to think and the only game that moose stink.it up was against st. Louis. Guy has to get more starts.

If I am coach I start Marty vs the Isles and Hedberg against the Rangers. Rangers have a good team but nothing special or flashy offensively. They get basically shit goals. I think Hedbergs simple style suits us better on Tuesday.
Plus for whatever reason, this team scores and plays better for Moose.

Rp I agree i think moose getting the start against the rangers would be clutch. They arent a flashy team

I agree with RP and Cup, I think Moose should start against the Rags as well... For the sole fact that we play better with Moose in net... or at least we appear to play harder and therefore look better....
