I see it the exact same way. Gray / Perez is the game I am REALLY excited for on Wednesday. Hopefully it will be ESPN's game, havent checked.

A's rarely get over on staff Aces, so don't like chances tomorrow.

The rangers of the past have had a knack for tagging aces, and Perez was our ace killer last year so maybe that trend will continue. I'm really curious to see how Nick Martinez responds to this setting. He looked good against Tampa, but that was just one start. One thing wash needs to figure out, aside from Darvish you don't pitch to Moss with a righty.

Gentry was my second favorite player behind Beltre. Hated seeing him go, but I think Texas made a good decision. I'm sure gentry will give us headaches. I'll try not to puke when I see him in an A's uniform.

So most likely he won't be in the lineup for all 3. Not sure the duration we are talking with him being off.

Straily vs Darvish is going to be very difficult for Oakland to win. Game 2 toss up. Love Oakland and Gray game 3.

2-1 or 1-2 likely. Don't see a great series for the A's with our 4 and 5 pitchers taking the mound.

have fun.... Oakland is coming to Texas a week from tomorrow also.

That 3rd game could be a good one. Surprised that Gray gave up 3 runs in 6 innings to Houston though.

Tepesch went 6.0 innings and scattered five hits while picking up his third win of the season.

Not to be a Debbie downer but I was pretty sure I'd recalled Darvish struggling against Oakland. Given the A's tendencies to take a lot of walks, especially in 3-2 counts he's going to have to pump strikes. No playing with the perfect pitch to try for the strikeout.

He is mostly aware and surly Maddux is so I look for him to have a good night. Now the offense may have other ideas like last night.
