Just saw for this Friday's Ducks vs Flames game, they offer 2 tickets, 2 beers, and 2 hotdogs for 29 dollars.

With the Flames as the opposition, that's still pricey..

1 seat upper level last row, mo food, no parking for $50. We hardly ever get deals here(unless I'm not looking in the right place) and the price of hockey is getting ridiculous.

Yeah, the Caps sell out every game, so there's not much in the way of deals here either. They have some pricey packages that come with extras like food or a free hat, but they are gimmicks more than good value.

That said, I don't think I've bought a ticket from the actual organization in almost 5 years. I go on the secondary market and get the tickets to the games that people are selling below face value - usually against SE division opponents or some of the Western teams.

Unless you know somebody with season tickets, you are not getting anything below face value, and good luck even finding tickets at face value for even the shittiest opponent. When I went to the Bruins/Sabres game (yes, the one where Looch lit Miller up), those tickets were $114.00. And I was way up in the third tier.

I got lucky last season though. Game 7 against the Habs was only $140.00. Pretty sad that living in this market that seems cheap to me. :L

Especially when you got other markets like TB giving away tickets with a hot dog and a couple beers for like 20 bucks.

The cheapest ticket package in the East might be a weekend to visit Florida when your team is on a swing to play the Panthers and Bolts. Find a deal on a plane ticket + $40 for tickets for two games and you're not doing too bad.

Back in Calgary in the 80s, we had those kind of deals at our favourite pub. For $20, you would get a ticket to the game, a free beer at the pub, and bus transportation to and from the Saddledome. Good times.

yeah how it works is that seasons tickets are 30% off regular price. so these tickets are around $80 or slightly less. so with that and the burger and beer they are making about $15 a person then all the beer they drink before and after and any appetizers etc....

its always sold out at the good pubs

The Leafs? I took my kid to see the Leafs last year and it was $92 bucks -- the cheapest seats in the house. This year, I think the price for the same ticks was $100; crazy stuff. lol

Deceptive advertising - tickets start at 29 dollars, but you need to buy in multiples of 2 -even though the ad last night said 2 tickets, 2 beers, and 2 hot dogs starting at $29.
Although, this might make up for it:
Stampede Day at Honda Center - Anaheim Ducks

Wich is still better than the cheapest $55 nosebleeds for the next night at Staples Center for the Ducks and Kings.

"Green Seats"

Starting 30 minutes before faceoff, you can buy onesie tickets for 5 bucks. Wherever they are available. This is a standing offer.

You definitely get in, because there's never a sellout.
