I gave an A-. We filled all our needs. I the pick of Christian makes Nske move to LG. IM impressed with this draft. The front office did a great job. Im going to go out on a limb and say all 8 eights picks make this team.

A- Few I would have chosen someone else but I still liked the players that were taken. Can someone unlock Allen from the cleaning closet now that the draft is over.

My prediction last year was that Nicholson would the steal of our draft. This year I predict it will be Tim Settle.

Day 1 we had only 1 pick unless Payne plays TE like he did for Bama twice in his career.

I went A-. If Guice’s issues are not an actual problem, I bump it up to an A+. If Guice’s issues are major, then I drop it to a C. It would be a D but we traded back and still got Guice.

Missed out on Vea who they obviously wanted, but got Payne. Traded back, picked up a better pick than the one we gave to KC and still got a guy they were considering at 13. Masterful.

Now what they did with that 3rd pick is why I bump them down to a B+. Key, Harrison, and Averett were still on the board. I know if the season started today, Williams and Moses would not be ready. I get that, but picking a back- up tackle and moving Nsekhe to guard with guys that could start for you day 1 still on the board......gotta knock you for that.

From all accounts Christian had a 2nd round grade though, so not too bad. Apke was a little high for me. Had him mocked to us in the 6th, but made up for it by stealing Settle who many on here including myself had no problem drafting at 44 if the Skins had gone RB or FS @13.

Hamilton was a starter at Alabama before the injury and further adds to the winning culture this team is obviously trying to build. Stroman looks to be our punt returner after Crowder's horrendous year back there and Quinn started at LSU and finished strong at SMU, could be a quality 3rd and short guy.

If we are gonna crucify Bruce when things go bad, we can't credit others when things go right. Who knows with the draft. It's too early to tell, but from the looks of things, Bruce did a very good job. B+

I agreed with every word till the very end when you said Bruce did a very good job. Almost gave you a bullshit or thumbs down emoji for that.

Why though? If we had totally blew this draft, no one would be talking about the scouts or Schaffer. Everyone including me, would be bitching and moaning about Bruce. Bruce needs to go. That has been firmly established, but we can't have our cake and eat it too.

Gave it a B+

The OT is a project/depth guy

Grade could improve. BUt the hot take, I love the Payne, Guice, Hamilton and Settle picks.

Luke Warm on Apkem Christian and Quinn

Stroman i would have swapped for Holton HIll, and Quinn for Lazard, but I dont hate the pick of either.

thus my grade.

My question would be, was this Bruce or was it Bruce staying the hell out of the way while grown folks went to work?? If this was all or mostly Bruce, Im pleasantly surprised. If it was him staying out of the way, Im shocked. At the end of the day, we wont know who was responsible for this draft for a few years if ever.

That's my point Shark. So things went well and now the narrative is Bruce was locked in a closet. If things had gone bad, would that same narrative exist right now?

I hate Bruce just as much as the next guy, but for the record, the next time shit goes left at Redskins Park, "we don't know who made the decision, we are not sure if the grown folks called the shots."
