Maybe if Washington sucked..sucked badly...I could maybe see it, but they don't.
The only time to ever consider benching Rodgers is when he's hurt, or the other option is a) really good to begin with, and B) going up against KC, not only a bad D, but an offense that'll keep your QB throwing

Redskins D has actually been very good this year. A little more susceptible to the pass than the run, but still very good. Also, the offense can't score.

Rodgers going to be chucking all night to keep up with Brady. Would be shocked if Matt Ryan scores as many points as Rodgers.

Some more points on the season in standard scoring. He has better weapons and a terrible defense causing him to throw all the time.

In other words, you should be playing matchups here. In this case, Rodgers has the better one.

Except that he hasn't been for most of the year.

Honestly, Aaron Rodgers is a great QB, but he definitely isn't #1 anymore and he shouldn't be drafted within 20 picks of Mahomes next year.

Well we can agree on that second point, that's for sure.

I put his "struggles" thus far into 2 things..him being a gimp for a couple weeks, and losing Cobb/Allison for a few others. Neither of those is a factor ( that we're aware of) going into this week, so for me, with a full assembly of weapons and two good wheels, gimme Rodgers every week over virtually anyone else (Mahommes), unless the matchup is just incredibly in the other guy's favor.
