Just curious what the Yankees plans are for their OF. I count 5 on the roster without Vernon. I would think they would DH Soriano, but does that mean Ichiro wont be getting much playing time or does that mean Gardner wont?

Gardner (LF) and Ellsbury (CF) will be the two primary OF's with Beltran getting the lion's share of playing time in RF. Soriano and Ichiro can spell anyone who needs rest. If anyone is going to get dealt I think it would be Ichiro, but it's going to be tough to move him at his age.

Thanks. That was kind of my guess with Ichiro seeing the least playing time and a possible platoon at DH, but Soriano getting the majority of the ABs.

Whats the chances that soriano will ever play 2B again for the Yankees?? Is it at all a possibility???

That may very well happen, it's all speculation at this point.
