I walked by Comerica while they were having the HS games there last month. It was hard to see the rink from so far away and with everything else they had going on around the rink, it looked like it would be distracting. I enjoy these games on TV, but just think that beyond being able to say I was at one don't see any reason to go to one.

Agreed, better to watch at home. I didn't envy anyone at the Winter Classic this year that's for sure.

IDK, I've been to one of these outdoor games and as awesome as they are, I prefer to watch them at home LOL

Most likely since it's cheaper to do so, but it could be a once in a lifetime experience.

Yeah true, everyone should go once, but after that it's probably better on television.

Aren't tickets for the Rangers & Islanders still available? Perhaps you could go to that game? I think it's crazy that the Rangers & Islanders is having problems selling out. That game should be great.

There are tickets available, but they're pretty expensive. I'm also working till 7:30 on Wednesday, so I would have to find a way to switch with somebody, it would become a hassle so i'm better off just watching it at home than go through all this trouble.

I agree, it's much nicer to watch at home, in climate controlled settings & such.
