you're right but I was reading about it and it said that he now has a legal prescription for a similar drug. I don't know if it works as good as addrerall but it is used for the same symptoms

That being said, the concerning thing to me about Davis is that a guy with all his power has a lifetime .330 OBP. That tells me he has very little discipline and if he doesn't change his approach it may catch up to him like it did Howard.
Also, if the Braves long run taught us anything, it is that you don't need to spend millions to lock up a first baseman for years. It is the easiest position to replace.

The drug is released 3 times every fourth hour, while Adderall XR is released two times every four hours, and Adderall IR is released all at once. Vyvanse is much less abusable. You can't snort it, and there's no way to break the time release.

Basically just imagine Adderall giving you a short, quick high, whereas Vyvanse gives you a long, steady buzz.

It's the most powerful way to take it (other than slamming it- ew) but the high usually only lasts 45 minutes tops. I just prefer to take it orally these days

Good point about 1st baseman. The minors have a fair share of 1st baseman who hit for power. Plus a catcher or outfielder with below average speed or fielding skills can be converted.
