Worst Endings

The Mist - movie version. Not bad in terms of movie decision, but horrible for the audience.

A really good movie but there's no point in seeing it twice

I thoroughly hated the end to the Avengers/Infinity. Too gimmicky. "Because you forget this little trick I can destroy the universe" Bah

2 things hurt that ending

1. the knowledge that there is a second part to it(so somehow, it will be as if it never happened)
2. too similar to the failed X-Men 3 ending... X-Men 3 is known to be one of the worst movies of all time... why even try to compare yourself to THAT movie...

I don’t. As amazing as those first 4 seasons were, the last 2 were just awful. The whole Deb/Dex situation was too much.

Yeah dude. That was the best bad ending I have ever seen in any work of fiction. Just. . .holy fuck.

Yep. Hard to take in, but surprise endings like that will always be appreciated by me. Like the movie Searching that came out recently, it had a little twist in the last 10 minutes that I loved.

I love both of these endings. I don't think there was any other way they could've ended Justified.

There Will Be Blood had a much better ending than Inherent Vice and Magnolia.

Maybe you are right. I don’t know. Again it wasn’t bad, I was just underwhelmed and disappointed.

St Elsewhere (never saw it, but read about it) - whole thing was in an autistic kids mind as he looked at a snow globe
Alf - gets caught and likely dissected by scientists
3rd Rock From the Sun - erased Mary's memory and took off. Mary wouldn't have any memory of the Solomons but everybody else would remember the guy she was with for years so they would think she went nuts.

I never even thought of that with 3rd Rock.

I loved how that show ended. That scene with Raylan and Boyd talking got me all sorts of choked up.
