I'll never bash PBR. It's not the best stuff in the world, but it usually saves my ass when I go to a bar and am low on cash. I can usually get two PBRs for the price of one your Big 3 light beers. So I salute you PBR. You know your roll and don't try to be anything else.

You know anything is better than the big 3 light beers but I don't consider those beer so they truly are worth this list in my opinion.

Funny you mention that about PBR, my friends and I used to go to the big warehouse beer distributors (if from PA you would understand). In Western PA we had the likes of Save on Beer, Beer Arena and Beer World (I still remember there jingle for their commercials). Our goal/running gag was to find the worst/cheepest beer and for some reason I would always stand most of that crap over PBR, not sure why but hey to each his own.

Misk...remember how badly skunked Rolling Rock would taste if someone gave you one if you were drinking any other beer.

I only know of one place in my area that sells the stuff. I think it goes for around $10/case.

yup .. i remember that ... the locals wouldn't touch the green slime (rolling rock) and now its a yuppie beer.. stupid yuppies..

Was never fond of Travlin' Gravel. But I'll NEVER drink it now. Name got bought, and production was moved elsewhere, screwing the people of Latrobe. So fuck that shit.

Same here, it was never has/never will be.

I just remember as a kid my grandfather always buying the Pony bottles.

Well the good news these days is that Iron City is using the old Latrobe Brewery after Sam Adams and few other bottlers left.
