I know he hates to lose, that's obvious by noting that he wasn't going to lose his grip on those crab legs, whether he paid for them or not...I have no doubt about his football value, I just worry that he might very well be a slightly watered down Lawrence Phillips...

The man has talent, there is no doubt about it and he hates to lose but so did Lawrence Phillips. Talent doesn't outright trump maturity or everything else. Talent isn't going to help a player that is always in trouble with the law or in jail. The NFL is finding this out the hard way with people like Ray Rice and Pederson in Vikings land both whom are immensely talented but now out of football because of their immaturity and psychosocial dysfunction. If we did not learn anything with Larry Phillips and Leonard Little then we deserve the dysfunction and krap we are going to get with a guy like Winston.

Sorry SJ76, I am going to have to agree with jacobarch and others who want Marriotta or Petty because we will get the same things in those guys that we would get with Winston without the headaches, dysfunction, locker room cancer, loss of leadership when he is in jail, and the loss of revenue to boot.

I know SJ, you've also favored MM and Petty, so its not like you are totally sold out to Winston. You are assessing his talent which he is indeed very talented. I just think MM is further ahead in maturity and is not headcase that so many players are these days. We are trying to work ourselves out of huge franchise hole on a number of levels and guys like Winston are not going to help in that regard.

I didn't say draft him. I said watch him. Or don't I really don't care. But if u judge him for his off the field shannaigans and don't judge him for what he does on the field... Seems a little extreme. :bullshit:
I like Marriotta too, but the more the Rams lose, the more this kid keeps winning. Lol

He's won 22 in a row. It's been 15 year since GTOF

These are just facts people

There is absolutely no debate that Winston has talent. We can see it every time he takes the field. But he is like a ballistic missile without a guidance system. Capable of doing great damage to the enemy, but no way to direct it. His maturity and judgment would be his guidance system, which seems to be conspicuously absent at this time. He is just as capable of doing as much damage to his own team.....

15/16 in the 2nd half. Another comeback victory. Yeah no talent showing against a top 5 team.

The guy steps up in crunchtime and makes plays.

Sorry I'm just not seeing it. I don't see the kaep Wilson factor. I see a Wr who can chuck the ball. A guy who locks on to a WR and becomes a liability. I saw a guy who should have been picked off three times in the first half because he threw up 3 horrible ducks. Personally I don't think he has it. Just IMO tho

Cuz ur blind. Did u see the 2nd half? Did u see his accuracy? Did u see him come back and lead the troops to a 20th straight W?? He's not a mobile QB. He's got rothlisberger's escapability, Brady's competitive fire and manning's accuracy. And he's got Johnny manziel's immaturity.

It is the truth

Game was on the line and he's 15/16 in the 2nd half. Didn't have a lot of time to throw in the 1st half.
I'm not saying I want him either. These are just facts.

Putting him in the same category as some of the Nfls greatest is a bit premature. Don't you Think ? Lol
Sorry SJ I disagree with your greatness.

It's not hard to compare a top QB in the NCAA having qualities from different great QBs at all actually.

Especially 1 that has not lost. :)

Yeah lol

No it's not red. And he will probably drop in the draft. I am guessing Jameis goes slightly before where Johnny Football went last year. So that's mid-1st round.
