Why Sign Ryan Hanigan?

We need another catcher after Rupp, Alfaro, and Knapp? But, after looking at LHV and REA rosters, this allows two catchers on each team as the Phils juggle Rupp, Alfaro, and Knapp. We're solid at C for a few years.

There is an opt out date on march 28th. Doubt if the Phillies will keep him. He is 36 years old and
he went through injuries last year.
