After the news about Joe Walker, who was going to make the team, I looked at the roster. With all the talk about the WR and OL depth, the LB corps is as tenuous as any.
Hicks - starting MIKE
Kendricks - starting WILL
Bradham - starting SAM
Goode - primary MIKE back-up
Walker - IR
Now what? Are two or three of Cherry, Gause, Skinner, and Tavarres really going to make the team? I can't believe that would be the case. I suppose that Cherry has looked the best, but in a normal year that would mean the PS for him.
WILL/SAM free agents available:
Basically, no one. The few OLBs that I may reluctantly consider as depth (Hawk, Woodley, Shoefield) are all 3-4 OLBs.
I guess that we are waiting for cuts for LB depth. Just two so far that may be interesting (and have an article supporting their bubble status):
McNary (IND)
Morgan (SEA)
