It HAS BEEN REPORTED that Hernandez has added bulk to his body. He hopes to have added power in his swing this season. He hit 9 homeruns last year. If he can maintain his average and OBP and hit around 15 bombs he will have increased value. Also heard that Santana is trying to help Franco to be more selective
in order to increase his OBP percentage. Their lockers are now side by side. Starting to remind me of the
approach that worked so well for the Eagles. All for one and one for all! 3 musketeers anyone?

If Santana can pull that off he is worth more than he is getting

Franco hit .230 with only 41 walks and 132 hits last year, and his OBP has declined 25 points each of the last two years. If he can get 10 more walks and 10 more hits, his average goes up 20 points. With +20w and 20h, he'll be over .270. He should be able to do it. Santana has some work to do.
