Depends on how they fare against the Spurs, Clippers, and Grizzlies the second time around. I feel confident the Dubbs can play against the Spurs and Clippers, but the Grizzlies have always played the Warriors tough. Gasol is a terrific defender and has a nice touch around the paint along with Randolph's abiility to score inside and draw fouls. Memphis is tall and can bang so the Warriors have their work cut out for them.

Where they finish this year? Let's say injuries are not a factor, I'm guessing a 4 or 5 seed this year.

I said they would be a 4-5 seed too. But I'm feeling a lot better about a 3-4 also

Funny how 10 days changes the world for some folks.

Reality check is , Dubs aren't healthy right now, and aren't finishing games.

Reality is that we've had our core hit by injuries most of the year.

HB missed the first 3 games? Steph has missed a few with concussions/ankle issues, Andre I. is going to miss atleast 2 weeks, FE has been gone all year, JO has missed a handful now, etc

No excuses, as Coach would say, but good lord, funny how folks get spoiled so quickly. The team is still a good team (when healthy)

Would you guys rather be Knicks, Bucks, Nets, Cavs, Magic, Jazz, or Kings fans?

Take a deep breathe, and appreciate what we have. Its not to say we don't have things to complain about, like Speights lack of basketball IQ or anything of use on the court, but overall team is still competing and fighting nightly.

1) I think Barnes may miss the first week, but I'd rather the Warriors be overly cautious with him to begin the year than rush him back. Gotta think about the future with that guy. Plus you don't want to rush him back too early and have him struggle because of an injury. It could hurt his confidence and we all know we need a big year from him.

2) AI will be the defacto backup PG. I think Douglas will be used more early because of the HB injury and need to rest AI. When Barnes comes back, I think Douglas might be relegated to more of a specialist/situational player.

3) Barnes and Green are the two guys I'm looking at most for bench production. Green has worked on his outside shot a ton and I expect him to do more facilitating and scoring this year. Speights could have a nice year, but more often than not I think it'll be hit and miss with him. It's very important we get the consistency from 1-6 this year.

4) We can only hope. Jackson's rotations always bother me.

5) Long hair, don't care.

6) Probably. The Warriors last year lacked that killer mentality. This year teams will be gunning for them and they have to show that they can keep their foot on the gas for a full 48 minutes. I think they may end up having a few humbling losses to begin the year, which may help motivate them and get the back in the right direction.

7) AI will fit great, although there will be times of the year where fans will be complaining that he doesn't do enough. O'Neal should do alright until Ezeli gets back. Speights will be inconsistent but he'll get some minutes. Nedo and Kuzmic likely won't get much run at all.

Kinda nailed it so far, imo.

Bump, its going to be okay guys.

Dubs haven't been healthy, have played the most games on the road this year, and after 1/8/14, will play a stretch of 38 out of 45 games at home (or something insane like that)

Dubs will still make the playoffs. I love the improvement by Klay, Steph's still Steph, Hb is slowly coming along. Having a "healthy Bogut" is already a plus.

D.Lee seems to be the one Dub who isn't putting up his regular numbes, I can't tell if its because there's more help around him, but he's the one player that I want to see step it up.

Bump, as the dust slowly settles,

Dubs are in the 8th slot, only threat to not make the playoffs are injuries, and MEM catching them in the 2nd half.

MEM might not have Marc Gasol for a stretch, if not most of the rest of the year.

Take a good look at the rest of the West, no one else barring a miracle will compete for the 8th slot, sorry DEN , MINN, NO, you aren't going to make up 10+ games.

Too soon to tell. If Bogut is done then so are the warriors.

Where do you get "10+" games? Right now DEN and MIN are 6 games behind the Warriors, NO is 7.5 games back. I don't think they are likely to make a big enough push though, but Memphis is definitely a threat.

If the Dubs do end up finishing a game out of the playoffs, looking back on all those losses to bad/depleted teams is going to be very painful. Chances are they will pull it out though. Phoenix is really surprising me, they are still going strong, but Portland has been struggling lately and are dropping in the standings. Clippers have Paul back and played well without him so I think the Dubs catching them for the division lead is pretty unlikely.

Math was never a strong subject for me, I was looking at the standings, , those #'s are apparently the # of games back from 1st place?

 , anyway, I feel the Dubs will still hold off the cellar dwellers.
