The team is doing well without his bat, but I still want him in the line-up and playing 1st, as soon as possible. When is he due back? An oblique injury can be tricky, if not healed properly.

Sounds like it could be soon. Thorne was saying how he was going to take some batting practice and if he feels good, they'll send him on assignment for a few games and then he'll be back on the roster.

He took the batting practice today. He is going to play a couple of games in Bowie. So it sounds like it could be as early as Monday.
