How about the timberwolves. They had a nice, young team started last year and they blew it up for a worse record and no future.

Couldn't decide between Clippers and Sixers so I went with potato salad.

If they don't get to the finals, I think the Clippers blow it up and the Sixers are likely to strongly consider it.

Gonna say the Lakers. If LeBron doesn't get them to playoffs this season his legacy is totally-totally ruined. Just like it was ruined when he didn't get an injured Lakers squad to the playoffs his first season in Los Angeles.

Co-sign but for the Sixers the “if they don’t get there” is the ECF and not the NBA Finals. If they go to ECF they likely run it back with a few tweaks primarily being trying to bring back shooting and defense for Tobias Harris expiring 38-39 million after the 2024 season.

Have they already gotten rid of the pressure because of this? Many have already seen them as failing and so now they’re in that different stage? I think there’s pressure when there’s an unknown that if you don’t resolve, it’s terrible. I don’t know that if they do poorly this year that they will change what they need to do next year. Whereas the Clippers, if they don’t win, then they have to do something.

The past couple of playoffs the Nuggets have been missing some key players. It'll be interesting to see what they can do if they get to the playoffs as healthy as possible. Last time they were healthy they lost to the Lakers in the WCF.

It really wouldn’t surprise me. This current Lakers group presents some advantageous matchups vs the Nuggets.

This Lakers squad is a pretty scary first round matchup. In all honesty? I think they match up well with Memphis and Denver.

The team I wouldn't want to face is the Clippers. Although I did say that's the matchup we need to see......that matchup makes me really nervous.
