First let me say this is not a thread to bash Griffin or even Cousins or McCoy. This is just a fun thread meant to ponder what might have been. The "what if" lets imagine the Redskins didn't trade up to get Griffin, what would you have done?

You now have the No. 6 pick in the NFL draft. Let's say No. 12 draft in 2013 and the No. 15 draft in 2014.

I would have drafted Tannehill and with the two No. 1s and the number 2 used to make the trade I would have looked to draft an either an OL, DL, CB with the two No. 1s and a safety with the No. 2 pick.

You can choose who you would have picked if you like based on the imagined draft position and who was available. Have some fun.

2012 (2nd) -- Bobby Wagner -ILB
2013 (1st) -- Sheldon Richardson - DL
2014 (1st) -- Kyle Fuller - DB

To take it a step further, we pass on all 2012 1st round QBs, take Luke Kuechly, move to a 4-3, pass on Ribeye and take Russell Wilson instead.

We probably have a nasty defense (insert players above and those picks who have actual worked out) and a real contender.
