With the way Wim played this year, everyone gets a crack at the starting job. If we see no improvement during this LSU game, then we better hope BK is not that stupid to just hand the job to Wim.

In the last 25 years we have had 4 true freshman start the majority of games in a season.
Jimmy Clausen went 3-6
Brady Quinn went 4-5
Matt Lovecchio went 7-1 (and then transferred to Indiana)
Ron Powlus went 6-5-1

I don’t have a lot of faith in freshman quarterbacks. But if he is better than Wimbush, I’m OK with giving him a shot.

With our running game, you would think the pressure would be taken off of him a bit. Similar to Fromm and Georgia.
