1000% agree. I like Zubac and think he is a good player but small ball works best for this Clippers. Lue gave up on small ball top fast. They lose a close G1 and he rush to put Zubac in the lineup

I also thought the Suns played way too much isolation ball last night. The ball didn’t move at all. It was a lot of Booker or CP3 one on one. When the ball doesn’t move guys like Crowder and Bridges will struggle to have an impact.

I kept waiting for the Suns to make a run after they kept it close in the first half, but they never did. Kudos to the Clips for continuing to fight in this series. I still think they lose, probably next game, but they have fought.

Then also add to this that the last time the Clips had 2 days off was after G4 of the Dallas series.

The Clippers have been the better team for most of the series.

They have had to overcome
a gut wrenching fluke loss in game 2
a blown call in game 4
And it has not fazed them yet

DOC RIVERS might get to watch the Clippers finally get to the Finals.

Ty Lue has come in and brought the Clips to a whole different level; and they're only down 3-2 in this series where they haven't had Kawhi for a single minute this series. If Doc was the coach, I doubt they get past the Mavs in round 1. Rivers sucks as a coach.

The Suns kind of coasted, like they thought eventually the Clips would slip, but they never really did.

I don’t think the Suns took advantage of their matchup with Ayton well enough last night. Suns aren’t built to go small either. They need to involve Ayton in the offense every trip mostly through pick and roll. Ayton is limited as a post up offensive player right now.

Sure. That goes without saying.

Pick and roll even more effective when Zubac is in though. Because he can’t stay in front of those guards.

So you never look at stats, which is stupid. If you don't look at stats how do you see what a players +/- is? How do you check to see which team won the rebounding battle? How do you figure out a teams assist to TO ratio?

I have some old stat books with blank pages from when I coached high school basketball. I just use those.
