Bucs declared CB Carlton Davis III, LB SirVocea Dennis, DT Deadrin Senat, LB Markees Watts, OL Brandon Walton, TE Payne Durham, and DL Calijah Kancey inactive for Week 3 against the Eagles.
Davis will now miss his second-straight game of the season with a toe injury despite logging limited practices throughout the week. Davis could be available for Week 4 against the Saints, but the Buccaneers will be thin at defensive back against a loaded Eagles receiving corps.

Eagles declared WR Quez Watkins, QB Tanner McKee, CB Mario Goodrich, RB Boston Scott, OL Tyler Steen, DT Moro Ojomo, and TE Albert Okwuegbunam inactive for Week 3 against the Buccaneers.
Boston Scott is dealing with a concussion, leaving the Eagles to roll with with D’Andre Swift, Kenneth Gainwell, and Rashaad Penny for this one. It was reported on Sunday that the Eagles plan to “ride the hot hand” at running back, meaning any of the three active backs could emerge as the lead ball carrier. Still, we’d expect the majority of touches to be split between Swift and Gainwell.

A few interesting tidbits in the inactives for Philly. Mario Goodrich being inactive means we will likely see some of Bama rookie Eli Ricks at corner. The beat reporters think it might actually mean James Bradberry in the slot.

Philly also activated world-caliber track guy Devon Allen, which means he will likely return kicks. He ran one back in preseason.

I generally like both of these roster moves. They are going with less experienced but more talented guys.

Goodrich is a surprise inactive. I know the plan is to use Bradbury in the slot in nickel sets but Goodrich was the primary back up last week before Avonte Maddox went down. He finished the game at slot corner. It wasn’t like he was great there but he wasn’t eye openingly awful either. I wonder who is slotted as the back up there. My hope is that it’s Georgia Rookie Kelee Ringo. I think he translates best in the NFL as a safety/slot corner hybrid type of player so I’m excited if he’s already starting to evolve toward that role.

I think Jobe is ahead of Ricks as an outside corner. A lot of the guys are young but I really like the promise of that DB room, especially the CB position.

Good point, they like Jobe outside and he has been the first guy off the bench to replace Slay or Bradberry.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow is active for Monday Night Football against the Rams.
Burrow was notably absent from the team’s inactives list for their Week 3 meeting with the Rams. He’ll give it a go at less than 100 percent while dealing with an aggravated calf injury. Inactive for the Bengals are WR Trenton Irwin, RB Chris Evans, CB DJ Ivey, C Trey Hill, OT Jackson Carman, TE Irv Smith, and DT Jay Tufele. Expect tight end Drew Smaple to step into a more prominent role in the offense with Smith out.

Rams declared RB Zach Evans, OL Kevin Dotson, OL Warren McClendon, and DE Earnest Brown inactive for Week 3 against the Bengals.
That leaves Ronnie Rivers and Royce Freeman to play behind Kyren Williams, the latter of whom logged an insane 95 percent snap rate a week ago.
