No games near me this year so I get to watch them all on the tube. Hoping to get back to Lambeau next season with my son if the trip goes through

I live in Florida so I don't often get games near me but I also went to the game in Tampa recently. Always nice to get to see them live. I have made the trip to Lambeau twice though...hopefully I can make it a few more times before my time runs out!

I got to go to the game in Oakland with my dad and son last season and now my son REALLY wants to go to Lambeau. I've been there twice during the Favre years but haven't been back since I moved to NV over a decade ago.

Potentially however I would much rather play them week 1 than week 10. They still have many young players that need time to gel on that defense.

Agreed. Although I think it would be more dangerous if it weren't week 1. Teams are always amped for the first game. If this were week 6,7,8,etc I'd be more concerned.

I'm in Charlotte and I have been looking at going to the jags game. So far the jag tickets I've seen are SKY HIGH. If I come across a solid price I dont' mind making the drive.

yeah tickets are stupid right now. I just found out im getting a free ticket from a vendor my buddy works for so I have that going for me. Good luck. Hope you find some reasonable prices.

The cheapest price on Stubhub I see right now is $115 each. This is the lowest you will find a ticket this year for any Packer game. The face price at Lambeau is between like $85 and $125 if you are a eason ticket holder outside in the bowl. The problem it the season ticket holders sell them for what other people will pay to see them and this brings the price up to around $150 to $200 or more.

I always wait until the game starts as the prices drop quite a bit and maybe miss the first 5 min of the game up at Lambeau

The way things look now I would say about a 75% odds of taking the trip down. Should know for sure by mid Aug

LambeauLegs, I always forget about checking other sites.. I'm a craigslist junkie and always look on that site. I'll check out stubhub to see what I can find. I'm sitting at 75 percent myself. I'm glad they have came to Charlotte a few times while I've been living here.

Just a tip for those Pack fans who may be flying in for this game. From my location I usually fly out of Milwaukee or Chicago as from Madison it always adds on more then $100. When looking to check flight prices for Jacksonville most were about the same from Milwaukee or Chicago at about $300 to $350.

I will be renting a car while there so with this being the case looked at flights to Orlando instead and it is much cheaper than flying into Jacksonville. I can get round trip from Chicago for like $98 yes for less than $100 to Orlando flying down on Thurs and coming back on Monday which is a savings of at east $200

The drive to Jacksonville is like 120 miles or so which is like 2 hours. If I make the trip I will surely be flying to Orlando and driving up to Jacksonville as the savings in air tickets will more than pay for the car rental.

I will be heading down found great flight to Orlando out of Chicago for $96 round trip and will drive up from there and staying at a friends house.

I did see this on the Packer website that they will be hosting a Packer Party the night before where many Packer fans will be. President Mark Murphy and other Packer Alumni will be at the event. Here is the link and details

Packers fans are invited to help kickoff the 2016 season the day before the Packers-Jaguars season opener at Blackfinn Ameripub, located at 4840 Big Island Drive Suite 05, Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The event will start at 6 p.m. and will include a program with Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and various Packers alumni, who will socialize with fans and sign autographs.

I will be flying down on the 8th to Orlando as the round trip ticket from Chicago was only $96 which saves about $250 if I flew into Jacksonville. I will be staying with a friend there but she will be heading with me to that Sat night Packer party where the Packer Alumni will be for autographs and such on Sat night and she will be coming to the game as well.

Are you planning on going to the Packer event on Sat night that is mentioned up above in this thread? I would be interested in tailgating but would have to figure out how to find each other. What is the parking like? Is there a light rail system that can be used to park father out and take the train to the stadium. I will be coming from the Atlantic Beach area to the stadium
