I don't think anyone is having tears or railing on tOSU. I'm disappointed in the committee selecting a team that didn't even qualify or play in their own conference championship.

We don't require a playoff if the route taken is opinion based instead of the on field play that resulted in a conference champion.

And you'd be wrong. It's nice to know that we have a committee that is able to objectively look at a team's entire season instead of boiling their value down to 1 play of the entire season. OSU is the better team and so they're playing in the playoff.

It's sad the the 4th place team in the B1G was allowed to play for the "conference championship" due to arbitrary placement in a weak division. That's why we have a committee - they can see that one fluke play doesn't define a team's season. Having the best resume in college football does. That's why we're in the playoff.
