Ehh. I watched the game, and Gus was literally felating Caleb Williams for 70% of the game. Obviously it's a bigger deal when the 22 point underdog makes a game of it than it is when the returning heisman trophy winner and the top ten team is running up the score on a team that just got destroyed last week.

I used to love Gus Johnson when I only heard him a couple times a year, and then the NCAA March Madness. Last couple years I've ended up watching the game he was calling 8-10+ times, and it wears thin pretty fast.

Old school will always be good.

Michigan and Georgia will make you 1 dimensional. And when you don't have an electric offense with a dude that can sling it, you be in deep trouble.

Why? Cuz they'll run it down your throat on the other end till you quit.

I see Michigan and Georgia. Maybe Bama.

Watching this Auburn Geogia game and I've never really noticed it before, but at least innthis game not one player is wearing actual football pants. They're basically wearing bike shorts. Nobody has pads in their pants, and they end WELL above the knee, almost mid thigh on Bowers and some other guys

I believe there was a rule change a few years back. I say let then learn their lesson.

Michigan 45, Nebraska 7 (4)

Damn. Cornhuskers just scored to avoid the shutout. I'm an old school MFer. I yearn for the days of Nebraska and Oklahoma going at it to determine which team had the inside track for the NC.

I feel for Nebraska fans. It's tough right now. Hopefully, things get turned around with Matt Rhule.

Glad Georgia came back and beat Auburn, fuck Hugh Sleaze. Dawgs aren’t quite as dominant this year but are still very good.

Texas blew out Kansas, the Horns are impressive this year.

yeah maybe so about williams but for good reason pretty much every analyst is all in on williams. im just pointing out that anytime colorado scored he was overly excited vs pretty monotone when usc scored. he was just itching to say "do you believe now" for a colorado win

its so much easier for these GROUP of 5 team to win that one big Out of Conference game in September
or that meaningless exhibition bowl game versus a Power 5 team
They are like Super Bowl moments. The entire team circles that game.

But, a full conference grind will start exposing them a bit. .That is what Power 5 teams have tried to explain to the rest of CFB.
Obviously there are exceptions, and no doubt they will get a lot better.

But BYU + Cincinatti + UCF+ Houston don't have a single conference win yet....other than 1 win against themselves.

Mizzou has their best pass offense since the Chase Daniel days. Not sure that the rest of the team is ready to compete against the big boys but we're at least interesting this year.
