Sturm would be a good addition if LA puts him on re-entry waivers. Just send Mitchell packing to make the cap space.

What risk? You don't loose anything on a waiver claim and if he reinjures himself you call up Ferriero who's better than Mitchell anyway.

Well, you technically lose the $8000 or whatever the bullshit lawyers/processing fee is for putting in a waiver claim but what I meant is when (not if) he re-injures himself... you wasted money on his contract... which isn't really that cheap (even at half the cost on re-entry waivers and pro-rated or whatever). Shrug.

EDIT: I'm in full agreement that, even hurt and not able to lace up the skates, Sturm is a huge upgrade over Mitchell.
