I think Hartnell's playoff aura washed his regular season stink off for most people. Feel free to vote for him though.

Is he really more reviled than Fat Balloon or Alexandre Daigle?

Randy Jones is another player i hated he was a human turnover.

Hartnell showed a lot of grit in the playoffs and if we keep him i hope he does the same next year.

this current flyers group is pretty good. i am not sure i dislike anybody on it. they all seem to be good guys. as for playing, hartnell frustrates me a lot and i am sick of carcillo diving. he started out as a tough guy with skill and as the season went on it got more and more out of hand. stop the diving.

I was wondering if someone was going to mention Bundy. At least he's likeable in retirement.

I wish I had a nickel every time JJ or Coatsey mentioned him "shutting down Jaromir Jagr" or "being the longest-tenured Philadelphia athlete".

Yeah...he was that likable loser kinda player. One night he'd turn Jagr inside out and then the next he'd be a minus 4 with 3 holding penalties.

Adam Oates and Kyle Calder come to mind. Adam Oates because we traded alot (even though Maxime Ouellet turned out to be a bust) and got practically nothing but a first round exit out of him and Kyle Calder just sucked. Not to mention we traded Patrick Sharp for him.

Good call on Calder, although I think we shipped Handzus to Chicago for him and then got Lasse Kukkonen when we sent Calder back to the Hawks.

The Sharp trade was just as bad though -- we got Matt Ellison (who?) in return.

your right Sharp wasnt traded for Calder but for some reason i thought he was; most likely because he was a Blackhawk. we traded Sharp along with Eric Meloche for Matt Ellison and a 3rd rounder haha. I guess put Matt Ellison on the list. I want to put anyone we got in return for Sharp and thought we got in return for Sharp on the list. Always liked him and its obvious he wasnt really given a good chance here, he has a ton of skill.

I mean yea, his off ice issues were annoying, but the man flat out dominated the game for a few years and was a warrior.
