Eddie Lack will be in net for the Canucks instead of Ryan Miller, so that helps the Lightning's cause.

Good win, scrappy at times but a win is a win especially out west and no Hedman for a period and half. Hedman is out for at least the rest of the road trip so expect a callup in the near future probably Luke Witkowski. Need to keep it going against the Oilers and Flames and hopefully in the meantime they can practicing shooting an a empty net because they struggled against the Canucks. BTW I thought Eric Brewer was outstanding last night, he didn't take being sat very well, Bish was big also when counted on.

Wow, didn't realize Hedman's injury was that serious, though he would only miss that game. Hope he's ok.

I saw on NHL Tonight that he got a couple of pucks shot at him in sequence, thought it was just a stinger. Wonder what the injury could be.

The team has yet to confirm anything as Hedman is flying back to Tampa to get it checked out but early speculation is that Hedman has a broken bone in his hand.

Wow hope its not as serious as it sounds, he has been spectacular so far this year. The rest of the Western swing is not as tough as Vancouver so we might get by OK.
