Looking back on this game, it's amazing to me that the Huskies managed to score 70 points without getting a defensive score or special teams score. We had the 8 combined touchdowns involving Browning and one rushing touchdown each from Gaskin and Dotson. There were no pick-sixes, no fumble returns for touchdowns and no kick/punt returns for touchdowns. We didn't even kick a field goal.
If I'd told you before the game that the Dawgs were going to score 70, how many touchdowns would you have guessed that the defense would have? How many kick/punt return touchdowns would you have predicted? At least one each, right? Neither unit played badly and the defense in particular forced a couple of turnovers that led to touchdowns, but this game was dominated by the Husky offense from start to finish.
I didn't even mention that all this came without Chico McClatcher, who is having a pretty good year himself so far.
