Men's Draw:

Medvedev's Quarter:

Medvedev vs. Kyrgios 4th round: Medvedev in 4. Either player could win, but Medvedev is more trustworthy.

Thiem vs. Auger-Aliassime 4th round: Rooting for Thiem, but I don't trust men returning from injury. Auger-Aliassime in 3.

Medvedev vs. Auger-Aliassime QF: Auger-Aliassime has been solid enough this year. Time for possibly the biggest win of his career. Auger-Aliassime in 3.

Tsitsipas' Quarter:

I'm taking Tsitsipas to the SF.

Taylor Fritz is the next likely.

Alcaraz's Quarter:

I hope Cilic has a good run.

Alcaraz to the SF.

Nadal's Quarter:

I always pick Isner to go far, even if he doesn't, and that's not going to change.

Isner vs. Nadal QF: Nadal in 4.

Auger-Aliassime vs. Tsitsipas SF
: I think Auger-Aliassime wins but rooting for Tsitsipas. Auger-Aliassime in 3 (surprising).

Alcaraz vs. Nadal SF: Nadal in 3 (surprising).

Not sure when the last time we had both SFs in 3 sets.

Auger-Aliassime vs. Nadal Finals:
Nadal in 5.

Women's Draw:

Swiatek's Quarter:

Rooting for Kvitova, but I think Swiatek to the SF.

Badosa's Quarter:

This is a fun section.

Osaka to the SF.

Sakkari's Quarter:

Gauff vs. Halep 4th round: Going with the younger player. Gauff in 3.

Kontaveit's Quarter:

Serena vs. Jabeur QF: I don't know. Serena in 3.

Swiatek vs. Osaka SF: Swiatek in 2.

Gauff vs. Serena SF
: Gauff in 2.

Swiatek vs. Gauff Finals:

I think Swiatek is a lot better right now. Not sure Gauff can win a set. Swiatek in 2.

It would be cool to see Venus get to the 3rd round.

Ballsy picks on the ladies side. No idea who to pick either. Maybe Jabeur makes it. Same for Garcia. Both are playing well. Think you got the mens just about right

Seems like there's a lot more upsets in the 1st round, than usual.

Tsitsipas, Thiem gone.

Osaka gone.

There were a few more surprising results too.

Wawrinka gone.

Yes some of these guys have still not fully come back from injury. But it still seems like a lot of good players are gone.

That was really cool to see Serena vs. Kontaveit's match end in a return winner.

It's rare that a match ends like that.

The crowd was too anti Khachanov. He played a smart and steady game, and can serve too.

Seems like Alvarez and Tiafoe have spent the entire match letting each other off the hook

Alcaraz should win his first major Sunday. This kid reminds me of a young Nadal (spirit wise on points), but with a bigger forehand! Good luck to both players. USO really needed these two five set thrillers to keep the tournament from being a drab event what with the early loss of Nadal, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and Djoker being kept out.
On a side note it was good to see JCF!

When Tiafoe pulled out the first set I thought he would win it. Alcaraz looks like the best player in tennis already though. I missed the first match. KK is one of those players that is the best of the rest sort of player. I see a lot of 2nd place finishes for him. Ruud is very too. He and Sinner and Alcaraz might be the new big 3 in a few years.

Alcaraz is great. I just hope Tiafoe keep this momentum next year

He can be into the top 10 if he plays this way because he didn't make any real deep runs at any tournament before the US Open

Aussie Open- round 2
French Open- round 2
Wimbledon- round 4

Indian Wells- 3rd round
Miami- 4th round
Barcelona- 3rd round
Madrid- 1st round
Rome- 1st round
Canada - 2nd round
Cincy- 2nd round

With how he played at the open, he can go deeper in just about all of these tournaments next year which would put him in the top 10

That's a few too many 1st and 2nd round exits overall. Let's see if he can show more consistency.

Paris and Shanghai are still up.
