Travelle Wharton Visiting Broncos

Well, this is interesting, Travelle Wharton (OG and can play OT) is visiting the Broncos. This is interesting because this may signify Kuper's end in Denver. Sportac has Kuper's salary listed as $5.4M and his dead money as $2.7M leaving roughly $2.7M, but supposedly not all of his original $13M of guarantees was fully guaranteed and cutting Kuper could free close to the entire $5.4M. I guess we shall see as this develops.

This probably depends on what Wharton is wanting as far as $$$ goes. Wharton has connections to Fox and Maguza (OL coach) from time spent in Carolina. Even further, signing him to use as a swing tackle to replace Clark is interesting also.

It definitely will depend on what he is seeking and health. The other part of this is not only would the Broncos save money this year on Kuper but the money saved over the next 2 years could be enough to sign at least a couple of our players.

NVM, Wharton has apparently cancelled his trip to Denver and Kuper is on the PUP list, so he is not going anywhere for awhile.
