Just like the title says. Here's a place for tHoop to share our wealth of knowledge to help out all these noobs.

I'll start it off with two of the (un)written rules.

1 - It's fine to start a game thread days or even weeks ahead of the actual game. And PLEASE do NOT post the game time or channel as we are spread out all over the world and that time and channel are very confusing.

2 - Never include potato salad in a poll.


I'm sure there are many, many more that I have forgotten.
